Rachael Lunghi of Siren Floral Co. has been one of our dreamy OG Marrow Babe for years. She’s gorgeous, funny, and smart...plus SUPER talented—her floral masterpieces speak for themselves!
We recently did a shoot with this babe, featuring her as the model for our Boyfriend Signet Ring launch. She’s such a pleasure to chat with and be around, so we decided to do a rapid-fire Q&A with this beauty. Learn a little more about Rachael below!
Marrow: Your work is beautiful! Give us a quick overview of your current floral business.
Rachael: Siren Floral Co. is a boutique floristry company based out of Southern California. We specialize in weddings and events. Our designs are inspired by an overwhelming love for nature.
Marrow: Obviously, jewelry and the sentimentality behind jewelry is the heart of Marrow. What’s your most meaningful piece of jewelry & why?
Rachael: I have two. My Lovely Rachael ring from you and a gold ring that was my mama’s.
Marrow: Jumping back to your work. You create so many stunning floral scapes. What’s the most rewarding aspect of being in the creative field?
Rachael: Making things that bring people joy and sharing a piece of my heart with others.
Marrow: On the opposite side of that, what is the hardest aspect of being in the creative field?
Rachael: Overworking and/or keeping healthy boundaries to protect your downtime.
Marrow: What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on this year so far?
Rachael: I just did my sweet friend Al's wedding and that was really something! I also did a big ole wedding with some epic planners last November that was definitely one for the books.
Marrow: What’s the best advice you’ve been given recently?
Rachael: I have a terrible memory. Haha. I should have written it down.
Marrow: For all our local San Diego babes, what’s your fave restaurant at the moment in SD?
Rachael: Royale! It's in OB! Great cocktails and burgers—my boyfriend Alec also swears by their veggie burger.
Marrow: Just a few more questions! What’s your top beauty hack?
Rachael: Facials consistently with @alonahakman. Organic, plant-based skin-care products and clean makeup!
Marrow: What’s one social cause near & dear to your heart?
Rachael: Gosh, there's just so many. Equality, homelessness, the environment (I've been on a serious mission to avoid plastics)...file me under "has a lot of feelings"!
Marrow: Okay, back to your business: do you have any new endeavors on the horizon?
Rachael: New floral class setups!
