"I grew up on the waters of the Puget Sound…"

My grandfather was a sailor and my dad was a fishing boat captain. Most of my favorite memories both as a child and as an adult have happened on or near the water.

I have been collecting stones over the past 5 years that remind me of different waters that I have been lucky enough to explore. From stormy seas, to teal lakes, to icy rivers, these stones (mostly stunning one-of-a-kind sapphires) invoke these feelings and memories and I hope they resonate with others who also feel called to the sea.

On Sourcing:

Our eye for gemstones is what sets us apart - Marrow sources globally from Australia to Columbia to Montana to Sri Lanka. When sourcing color we look for consistent pooling or saturation coupled with high crystal and quality cutting. This all culminates with a stone's pop or sparkle. Certain stones just speak to us!

On Some Stand-Out Designs:

I really love the infinity bezel opal and diamond designs (2.60ct Opal and Diamond Cadillac Bezel Ring & 2.75ct Opal, Diamond and Montana Sapphire Bezel Ring). The organic shapes and the unique setting style make them feel extra special.

The icy blue radiant cut from master cutter, Glenn Preus is a complete showstopper of a stone.

The Tessa parti sapphire is one of the most unique stones I have ever seen. I’ve been holding off on setting her because I wasn’t quite ready to let her go, but now it’s time. I’m excited to see whose hand she ultimately finds!

On How to Style These Pieces:

These solitaire designs are incredibly versatile - wear them stacked or solo - as an alternative to a white diamond engagement ring or as a statement right-hand cocktail ring.
