A HUGE part of our mission statement is lifting up and highlighting other female-owned brands. So I was over the moon excited to collaborate with some of the baddest boss babes I know for our Urban Chic shoot. We wanted to highlight the North Park area of downtown San Diego, where a lot of BIG things are happening.
I knew I wanted to shoot the beautifully designed Holy Matcha which you’ve probably seen all over Pinterest and your Insta feed (I mean the wallpaper and that pink velvet couch are to DIE for)! Then there’s Pigment, a beautifully curated shop of giftables, with its stunning pink ombre wall. These spaces were the anchor points of the shoot and where we drew the most inspiration for our bridal looks.
Stevie Hammork & Courtney Halverson (@prettylittlefawn) had the most amazing chemistry together and the whole team just clicked. That’s always when the magic happens. Some of my favorite images are in front of that old, dilapidated church...it created such a beautiful juxtaposition with our jewels.
When we saw that pink ombré veil from The Dress Theory, we almost died! It was like it was destined for this shoot and those images are magical!
I hope you are inspired by these looks and ESPECIALLY by these women who are out there hustling and making it happen every. damn. day. Love your bones, ladies!
